About Counselling
How Counselling can help
Counselling will give you space to explore what is going on in a confidential, non judgemental, and safe environment. We can't always change situations and we can't change other people but counselling can help us find our own inner resources and help us understand ourselves better. It can be an aid to find relief from past traumas, to deal with our own, sometimes unhelpful, behaviours. Counselling can be an aid to lifting depression, relaxation, letting go, grieving, communicating and building relationships. Counselling can allow a space to understand why we feel the way we do, why we behave the way we do and what impact this may have on ourselves and those around us.
Counselling can help to get life back in balance
Often when we are going through emotional struggles we are unable to see a clear and easy way to move forward. Sometimes in life we can be so overwhelmed that we become immobilised and struggle to define our choices. Counselling can help us explore our options, give us space to find clarity and support to gain strength thus enabling us to take action and move forward.
